At the intersection of James North and Robert, you’ll find a very special culinary experience: Hamilton’s Born and Raised.

Born and Raised, the latest addition to NOSH Hamilton‘s line-up, has breathed new life into the historic Jamesville landmark with its warm atmosphere and delectable menu options.

This weekend, the FEED the Social team got to experience the best of Born and Raised – and we weren’t disappointed!

Read on for a look inside Hamilton’s blossoming culinary world.

The menu, though short in length, does not fail to deliver. It includes a Raw Bar, Small Plates, Pizza and other options that encourage sharing.

We started the night off with these gorgeous Bartlett Mules, which do an excellent job of encapsulating the restaurant’s cozy aesthetic.

Chef Vittorio Colacitti, Top Chef Canada alumni and restaurateur, infuses the B&R menu with locally sourced ingredients and bold flavours. Colacitti also owns the The Good Son in Toronto.

We ordered the Buratta with toasted peaches, Steak Tartare “Le Roy”, Marghertia Pizza and, of course, Nonna’s Meatballs. Each plate was as gorgeous as it was tasty – just ask Pierce!

We finished the night with a few more drinks and the delectable Mango Cheesecake, which featured coconut tapioca and mint.

You can experience Born and Raised for yourself this October during NOSH Hamilton – but we highly recommend trying it sooner!
